Capital Campaign

October 1, 2010

Dear Church Family & Friends,

We are near completion of our 49th year of ministry and this November will begin our 50th year of ministry culminating in a celebration November 2011. We have come this far by faith, leaning on the Lord. The Church of the Redeemer continues to march into the future God using ordinary people to do extraordinary things through faithful giving and service. We are extremely grateful for the continued consistent giving that has enabled us to strive for our vision of Redeeming the Community through Service and Love.

These past two years have been exciting for Church of the Redeemer as we have seen amazing transitions and growth in our connection with our community which has provided great opportunities for the ministry of our church. Opportunities, however, always bring challenges. As in the past, we are moving forward in faith and confidence that God will continue to enable us to meet the needs of our current membership, those who are joining us on a weekly basis, our local community, and desire to have a global impact.

We would like to take this opportunity to share some exciting information with you about your church and your future. For the past years our church has earned its reputation as a place where hopes and dreams are realized, and where needs are met both in the local and global community. We have intentionally developed relationships with our local school district, city government, and missionaries around the world. This additional growth in ministry has led us to a new emphasis of ministry.

Our capital campaign theme entitled Building Generations Serving Our Community is getting ready to launch with a logo depicting the church building with people of various generations hand in hand stretching across indicating our mission to build people that will serve God and others. These exciting days before us will require our attention to detail and also an opportunity for each of us to step forward and make a difference in helping fulfill the financial goals of this important campaign. As part of our Building Generations Serving Our Community program, we are asking every household to prayerfully begin consideration of what financial part God would have them commit to over the next three years. The raising of this capital will allow us to continue to use our current income for ongoing important ministries while investing in our future.

We have included some preliminary information regarding our Building Generations Serving Our Community campaign objectives trusting that you will take time to read carefully. In addition we thank you for your continued partnership at this historical moment and will be providing additional information throughout the campaign as you consider God while watching in anticipation of what He will continue to do among us in demonstration of His great faithfulness.

May God bless as we continue Building Generations Serving Our Community.

In His service,
